Sweet Bees is a delightful mix of whimsy and a gentle touch of urgency. I designed playful patterns of honey bees, bumble bees, beehives, honey jars, wildflowers, honeycombs and buzzing flight trails. I played with the contrast between crisp, graphic black lines and the softness of sun-washed yellow. Each print is meant to evoke a feeling of warmth, happiness, and the simple magic of watching bees dance from bloom to bloom. I LOVE bees! And, am particularly fond of the fuzzy bumblebee. 🙂 That first bee sighting in Spring gives me such a warm, buzzy feeling knowing sunshine and flowers are on their way. The motifs are lighthearted, but the message is clear: we need to protect our pollinators.
So, whether you're sewing a cozy quilt, a sweet baby blanket, or cheerful kitchen linens, these prints are designed to lift spirits and spark conversation. Celebrate the bees!

Winter is my favorite season to paint—especially joyful snowmen and adorable critters that share snowy scenes. Joyful Snowmen is my newest collection (shipping in August 2025) filled with snowflakes pinecones, classic plaids, festive holly, and charming winter animals. The collection includes a sweet snowman panel and 11 coordinating prints. Let the winter sewing begin!
